Things That I Wish Knew in Law School: #1

Behold my foray into this blog. One of the chief purposes of writing, to my mind, is providing something of value to readers. One of the great values of experience is the potential of others gleaning from that experience. To that end, I am beginning a series of posts which discuss things I wish I had known while in law school. These things will deal directly with law school itself, the application of law school curriculum to actual practice, and things I’ve learned in my short time of practice which would have aided me greatly (and provided much-needed perspective) while a law student. This list is anecdotal, I admit, as are my observations. With that brief introduction, I reveal the first of this list:
